They should now be open again, but we have limited them to one per week so as to avoid getting backed up again.

Also, DO NOT SUBMIT WORK TO THE FEATURED FOLDER. I have mentioned it on the guidelines and everywhere else I can think of. We already got a flood of work by people who did not pay attention to the guidelines. When you submit work you have to send them to the correct folder, we cannot keep moving them. Any future submissions to the featured folder will be declined.

Thanks for all your patience!

We've never had to do such a thing, but we needed to stop oncoming submission as our folders cannot take it anymore. We have too many deviants sending in multiples of the same submission and it's starting to drown out other pieces that need a vote.

So until further notice I've stopped the galleries from accepting new submissions until we're able to clean house and get deviations screened/approved. I'll post a new blog when things are up and ready again.

And while I'm here I'll remind everyone again that we DO NOT accept fanfiction, this also includes journals that deviants try to submit. This is happening way too frequently.

We only accept artwork, not written pieces.

Because we've been seeing it a lot more frequently, fan fiction and any other kind of written submissions are not accepted in this group. We're an art-based group and it states clearly in our guidelines that they will not be accepted. This is why it is important to read the rules prior to submitting work.

Also, again I stress that if you have a complaint or a comment that needs to be addressed to send us a note. We will flag complaints as spam from now on if we find them on the homepage. And please if you would like to have your work submitted to the group, please no not note us or send comments on the homepage asking if we'll take it, they all have to go through the submission process for a vote like all the other members do.

And speaking of the voting process. If a piece fails to get voted on within a certain amount of time and becomes expired, please DO NOT keep resubmitting the same piece over again. The same goes for pieces that have been declined. We reserve the right to decide what content is allowable in the gallery, and if a piece gets declined without a comment (and we try to advise members of why they were declined as much as possible) it will be because it did not meet the criteria of the guidelines or it violated the rules of the group downright.

One more thing, we do not condone work being submitted that is for sale on other websites using copyrighted material. Please keep that in mind.

Other than that, so long as you please read the guidelines, things will run smoother.
Thanks,

I'd like to issue a reminder about part of our rules that hasn't been relevant lately:

"Members must also refrain from submitting work based on newly aired episodes until at least 3-4 days after the original broadcast date so as to let others have a chance to catch up with the new episodes and not have to worry about having something spoiled when they look in their inboxes."

Please save us all some time and wait until it is appropriate to submit your work.  Do not ask why you have been declined if you have made art about a new episode and it is the same day the episode aired.

Please also be patient with how long it takes to approve submissions.  All submissions require two votes and the moderators here may not be checking the submissions until after WE have seen the episodes because we don't want to be spoiled!

Thanks for your attention!
Ever since I took the time to go through and simplify the rules for everyone in the handy blog posts it seems like things took a complete nosedive. We are getting way too many people outright ignoring the rules and submitting whatever they feel like. (For the last time, WE DO NOT ACCEPT FAN FICTION)
I can see how many people actually go through and read them, and considering the amount of members are in the group, it's safe to say only a handful of people are really taking the time to make sure they're doing the right thing.

Really guys? I spared you a huge wall of text for two easy to read blog posts, it can't be that hard to scan them before doing anything. I'm tired of getting complaints from frustrated members asking why their stuff was declined when all they had to do was read the rules. The mods and I have had to decline a LOT of pieces in the last week because of this and it's getting out of hand.

I've been very patient and responding to notes for an explanation and sending out messages in general before some go to vote. But guys, if this keeps up we're just going to decline them without any comments. I have two jobs and the other mods are very busy too, we can't continue to remind members of the painfully obvious. We want this group to continue to be successful, but you guys have to do your part by following the rules, this is getting ridiculous.
