This is mainly a notice to people trying to submit

's work into the group.
We've been getting countless messages from people suggesting her work into the gallery, seriously A LOT of them. And I have to point out that if it wasn't accepted when the work was posted, most likely there's a reason for it. In the last two days we've gotten several people suggesting the Muppet Who piece, if she wanted it in the group she can submit it herself.
So please PLEASE stop suggesting it! For her sake and ours, seeing the messages over and over is getting to be a real nuisance, and I'm sure she'd appreciate not getting the same messages repeatedly as well.

Argh- thanks for posting this. Her work gets submitted to Space Museum a lot too (even though she hardly qualifies as one of those "lesser-known" artists I try to promote). I used to accept them, but she always let the requests expire or outright declines them. No skin off my teeth, and I'm certainly not begging for her work to be added to the group. I'm sure she has her reasons for "playing favorites" with particular groups. Nowadays I just automatically decline anything with her name on it.

Ahaha Yeah I had a feeling it was about time one of us said something because it's been going on for so long.
And it's true, she really doesn't need the leg up from any groups, so why do they continue to do it?

Exactly! People should know it's against DA's rules to post art that isn't yours anyways.

The main problem is that dA has that stupid "Submit to Group" option on everyone's submissions. So that people other than the artist can submit your work to various groups, which clogs certain people's inboxes with notifications asking them to accept it. I personally think it must be annoying for someone as popular as mimi-na getting those things all the time @_@

I have noticed that mimi-na has decided to feature some of her art in a couple groups. I wonder why. Hopefully she did it for a reason other than to get those people out of her hair. It stinks when a person says 'yes' for that reason.

It would make me feel especially guilty too since I feature her work. I don't want to pressure people. I'd rather not ask her though, as I'm sure she has to click the 'x' on thousands of comments every time she logs on.
